Adding Sophistication to a Home Office in Williamsburg 11211
Work is a funny thing, and the environment in which one works can have a significant impact on focus, productivity and mindset. Something as seemingly small as a dirty wall, old paint or a boring office setting might subconsciously promote a lack of inspiration and curb vision and insight into work-related issues. Interrupting the boring vertical of a solid wall with wainscoting can introduce vitality and style.

A homeowner in this contemporary 5-year-old condo building in Brooklyn definitely needed some vitality and style in the home office. So we helped plan adding sophisticated flat panel wainscoting and repainting the walls. Installing wainscoting is always a multi-pronged project which involves exact measurement, precise cutting, and accurate square and parallel installation. Once it was perfectly in place, we primed and painted it.
For the wainscoting, we applied Benjamin Moore’s Rocky Coast, a deep gray “reminiscent of wave-ravaged rocks along a stormy coastline.” Talk about drama and emotion. It alone delivers that vitality and style. The walls contrast comfortably in Benjamin Moore’s White Dove, its super popular go-to paint for a clean, classic, warm white. This is now a more powerful space for getting things done, resolving conflicts and creative brainstorming.
