Painting Cabinets with Farrow & Ball Paint in Brooklyn 11217

After

Working with the lovely Denton Oliver Design, we had the privilege of painting cabinets in a 121-year-old historic brownstone. The aura outside is one of grace, sophistication and impeccable architecture, while the interior fairly glowed in Old World elegance. All Farrow & Ball paint is water-based and low in VOCs. Those Volatile Organic Compounds can reduce indoor air quality, thus, the homeowner selected Farrow & Ball’s superior paint products.

Before

House mice are generally some shade of pewter gray with lighter color bellies. This paint is named Mouse’s Back for the British field mouse, “quiet in nature and feels soft in rooms both large and small.” This kitchen sports a generous number of cabinets, and we were pleasantly surprised with the outcome. It added a rich depth and stylish character to the space.

Known for slightly unorthodox paint names, Farrow & Ball’s Dead Salmon transformed the island foundation cabinets to a dusty pink-beige with muted rose tones. For a spot of whimsy, we painted the interiors of the glass front cabinets in Templeton Pink, originally developed for the dining room at Templeton House in London. This home kitchen now seamlessly blends grandeur with function and beauty that surpasses time and trend.
