Interior Spray Paint inside National Historic Landmark

George Washington established the first armory in 1777, and we are downright thrilled to have been contacted for sprucing up the interior of the 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Ave. in Manhattan. After our normal covering and protecting floors, ourselves and anything not looking for new paint, the Paintworks team assembled the spraying equipment. This is a task requiring connections, air pressure, paint, tubes and nozzles which requires some serious technical expertise. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965, hosts special events and still houses the New York Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, aka the “Fighting Irish”. In just two days, it was refreshed to its former industrial glory.
