Manhattan Kitchen Cabinet Refacing 10038
As the heart of the home, the kitchen functions as a multi-faceted food hub, drink station, family bonding space and friendship central. The way to our hearts is through our stomachs, and this one room stands at the ready to function on many levels for many wonderful reasons.
The homeowners here were not especially enamored with the kitchen cabinets. They were smooth, totally without definition, and finished in the gloss white you might find in a sterile operating room or a high-level security research and development laboratory. Their brilliant vision – and our equally brilliant accomplishment – was to resurface the cabinets with trim panels and a soft oyster shell color paint. They also needed two new cupboards constructed to replace where the microwave had been above the wall oven.
We custom-built a new shaker-style cabinet to replace the empty one under the counter.
As we do on any project like this, all the cabinet doors and drawer fronts were carefully removed and transported to our professional painting workshop. Our light construction team worked alongside the painting crew to add trim to every door plus craft new ones for the microwave space. They were primed and painted, and we installed gleaming, new, stainless steel knobs and handles. The contemporary backsplash pattern delivers a soft, flouncy, cheerful accent. The result is a sleek, modern kitchen with a new warmth, an enhanced comfort factor and a distinctive style.
