Chelsea Mews Loft’s Newly Painted Dining Room 10011
One homeowner decided the dark, stringy wallpaper, akin to a loosely woven burlap sack, in the dining room simply had to go. We are the best with copious experience in removing wallpaper, always beginning with protecting floor, furniture, electronics and pet hamsters. There was no hamster here, but just so you know, we take care with shielding little pets, too.
Removing wallpaper is a comprehensive project. Getting it unstuck with a variety of scraping tools is task one. Bundling it up for removal and disposal off property comes next. Then, with the sharp eyes of experience, we examine the wall for any glue or paper residue or imperfections which could present themselves under a few new coats of paint.
Here we did have to plaster the wall for an even texture and smooth appearance before painting the entire room. This satisfied homeowner no longer has to endure someone else’s idea of a clever wall in dark, stringy wallpaper. We didn’t leave a hamster behind either. We just get kind of punchy some days.
