Wallpaper Removal in Battery Park 10280
A homeowner in Battery Park City called us in to remove wallpaper in the bedroom. It’s a wonder he ever slept next to this bold green, cluttered, jungle-like pattern. We were only too happy to be of assistance. After covering and protecting the floors, we set to work with whatever tools were needed to bring a new sense of calm to the space.
Once the wallpaper was taken off the wall and removed from the residence, prepping the walls included removing all the glue, repairing any nicks or flaws and inspecting the wall for a smooth transition. The new paint is named Soot and lives up to the color of soot – an elegant shade of black with a trace of mystery and refinement.
This paint is a low sheen matte, so it absorbs light rather than reflects it. Black is not trendy, but always in style, and we think sleep will come much faster and deeper in this bedroom going forward. Sweet dreams!
