We removed these elevator panels before oxidizing and refinishing them. They had scratches to repair and lots of grime to remove and clean. Oxidizing is a process that changes the color of the brass. We clean the panels carefully by hand, following the grain of the metal. Once the brass panels are clean, we oxidize them and then spray them with clear lacquer protective coats. We have over 18 years of experience refinishing, cleaning, and oxidizing brass metal panels of all shapes and sizes. We aim for a process and a shiny, beautiful finish.
