All changes to the project scope are to be confirmed in writing and signed by the client before proceeding.

If the client is available on the day we finish, we encourage them to walk through with our project foreman/manager. Or they can walk through another day and let us know how everything looks.

Yes! We once had a 48 hour window to paint the interior of a shake shack. We had to work around the business operating hours and start work at 11pm! Read more here.

Yes! We typically walk through with our clients for any finishing touches. If you are about to move in, please mention that to us so we can plan for a post-move-in touch-up, as there are sometimes scuffs from the move-in process.

All painters and carpenters are in-house. We have a partnership with two electricians and one flooring company.

Absolutely.

We do a complete walkthrough with the client and create a game plan before starting any project. Our carpenters are skilled, trained, and have all protective equipment required. This includes earplugs, safety goggles, gloves, knee pads, etc. We take time to move and cover any furniture. We cover floors with durable reinforced brown paper or drop clothes. We never rush. Clients, kids, and pets must be out of the space during working hours. Once the work day is done, we clean up and put all equipment away in safe, secure place.

We know that one of the top complaints people have with contractors is a lack of communication. With that in mind, we do our best to be proactive in our communication. All of our clients have access to our office phone number, office email, and the 2 cell phone numbers of the owners. We pride ourselves in our communication and do our best to respond within an hour Monday through Friday 8am-6pm and by 8pm Sunday on weekends.

We think our Google Review score speaks for itself. In addition, we give clients an estimate upfront and all project receipts at the end of a project. If that is not enough, NY has a citizen resource here where you can check prices and report to the Government if you feel you have been wronged.

Before taking on any project, we discuss any hard deadlines a client has and ensure the client's project can be completed within our work schedule and the client's timeline. We give clients timelines that we stick to, barring any unforeseen emergencies.

We give clients a material estimate upfront and provide all project receipts at the end of the project.

We send a written price quote for approval that we stand by. If anything changes, we send it in writing to the client for approval. We have a home improvement contractor license that requires us to follow NYC best practices when it comes to writing and honoring contracts.
