Brooklyn Custom Cut Marble Backsplash Installation and Cabinet Painting 11201

There are those who like their dishes on open shelves. Others who do not. And even some who like it for a while, then think: Let’s get the dishes behind nice cabinet doors. Let’s put some of nature’s green in the kitchen and add a classy black marble backsplash. This is the point when the Paintworks team enters.

We removed the shelves, supports and old backsplash. We prepare the vertical surface and installed and grouted the new black marble backsplash. We think this is one sophisticated way to update a Brooklyn kitchen. Then we resurfaced the cabinet doors and drawer fronts, painting them an almost magical medium shade of green. Benjamin Moore describes this lush AF 475 Luxuriant paint hue as “subtle blue undertones create a rich, comforting green that evokes the rain forest after a strong summer rain.” We cannot top that for a perfect description.

Brooklyn Heights is known for its green tree-lined streets and green ivy-covered row houses. The architecture reflects a rich heritage of quality construction with public parks and playgrounds. Forget the rain forests of distant lands. This homeowner has cleverly transported the luscious leafy greens outside in Brooklyn Heights to this delightfully efficient kitchen inside.
